The Powerchair / Wheelchair Mitts

“Due to cerebral palsy in my hands I cannot put gloves on and using my electric wheelchair in cold and wet weather results in me getting a dry and cracked hand.

The powerchair mitt is a great idea my carer could put it on my chair and it can be left on all the time, it was easy to put my hand in and out of the glove and it kept my hand warm which is good for my joints. I would no longer need my carer to come with me to the shops as I can remove my hand from the mitt and handle money and stuff myself.”

"Had trouble putting mitt on chair"
This was a problem brought up by powerchair users that did not have the "conventional shaped" control panel that made it easy for the powerchair mitt to attach to. As a result the elasticated band on the powerchair mitt has now been manufactured as two separate bands independent of each other giving a much wider range of attachment possibilities.
